Most issues become more manageable when we aren’t facing them alone. I love people and helping them heal, and work through the process of change. Seeing people resolve short or long-term issues that may have developed over their life span is a true joy. My approach to therapy is a combination of compassion and understanding where individuals can utilize the techniques and skills learned, to be the person they’re capable of being. I became interested in psychology in middle school because it was so exciting and fascinating. I obtained my degree from Utah State University in Family and Human Development, Psychology and Sociology. I then proceeded to The University of Utah to earn MSW in Social Work and received my LCSW two years later. I have been in practice for over 25 years, and I work with most types of mental health disorders or diagnosis including depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, substance abuse, ADHD, relationship issues, and regulating emotions. My goal is to offer a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported, wherever you are on your journey.
In my downtime I very much enjoy the outdoors, gardening, experiencing new places and enjoying family and friends.
